The Heart of Texas Animal Rescue rescues and rehabilitates animals abandoned or in need of urgent placement in the State of Texas. Through foster care, medical treatment, and community support, we give every animal a second chance at a safe and loving home. We are committed to advocating for animal welfare and building a more compassionate future, one life at a time.
At the Heart of Texas Animal Rescue, we are committed to rescuing animals from shelters or abandonment. Our Rescue Initiative Program is dedicated to saving at-risk, highly adoptable animals, providing them with necessary medical treatment, and finding them loving forever families.
Brown County Pawpulation Control is dedicated to reducing the number of community and feral cats euthanized in local shelters through humane Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts. By working with local veterinarians, volunteers, and residents, we trap, sterilize, vaccinate, and return cats to their outdoor homes—helping stabilize colonies, prevent litters, and create a healthier, more compassionate community for both animals and people.
